LASEC ACADEMY | LOCKPORT AREA SPECIAL EDUCATION COOPERATIVE
Structured educational environment for children that are not able to function in a traditional setting that utilizes positive behavioral interventions and supports. Classroom model integrates a social worker to assist in promoting emotional and behavioral growth. A point and STEP system is utilized to reward children for positive behavior, track progress, and gauge readiness to re-integrate into the general education setting.

DYSLEXIA INFORMATION AND TRAINING | CHILDREN'S DYSLEXIA CENTER
Offers free customized one-on-one instruction training for children who have been diagnosed as dyslexic. Services may also include training for teachers or others with a bachelor's degree who wish to tutor children with dyslexia.

Provides educational programming and services for member district students whose educational needs cannot be served within their local districts. Member districts annually complete a comprehensive needs assessment process identifying areas of programming needed for the upcoming school year.
Programming includes itinerant services for hearing and vision needs, adapted physical education, autism, and/or orientation and mobility training. Related support services and diagnostic and consultation services are also available to support students in their educational environment.
Professional development opportunities also available for clinicians and educators.
