Persons ages 5 to and 22 years with learning or developmental disabilities

Includes (but may not be limited to): Student's most recent IEP All relevant educational, medical, speech/language, occupational and mental health reports from the previous 2 years.

Application process

(1) Parents must contact the Academy by phone or through online form to find out about classroom availability and verify eligibility (2) If eligible and classroom space available, the family's school district will be asked to send a formal referral packet including a copy of the student's most recent IEP (3) Intake coordinator will review referral packet for initial approval (4) Upon approval, family will be asked to schedule a formal in-person visit (5) School district will then notify the CWA if the family confirms interest (6) A visit for observation at the current educational placement is scheduled, and parents are asked to schedule a meeting with the Principal and the CWA team (7) Once CWA has approved the student, parents submit the formal application.
