Bloom Township offers the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) class where parents learn to effectively understand children's behavior, improve communication, and set limits along with consequences. The 6-session program has provided service to Probation and DCFS-referred clients as well as those who are self-referred. Classes are held on Monday evenings from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Hours may be changed to adapt to the client's work schedule.
