Thresholds' Youth & Young Adult Services (YAYAS) offer groundbreaking programs for adolescents, young adults, families, young mothers, and their children. These programs offer the development skills and support they need to master mental health challenges while reducing the negative impact of those challenges on what matters most to young people: relationships, school success, recreational activities, health and wellness, day-to-day living, and early career experiences. Specializing in the transition to adulthood, Thresholds' Youth & Young Adult Services provide young people with experiential learning within their communities to maximize success. Children's Special Day School: A behavior management program for students with autism spectrum disorder to learn positive behavior techniques to replace undesirable behaviors. An Individual Education Plan (IEP) is designed for each student with long-range goals and short term objectives in six educational domains.

Therapeutic Day School - Lawrence Hall - Main Campus

The Therapeutic Day School focuses on each student's unique needs and fosters autonomy, experiential learning, and skill mastery. With admission by CPS referral only, our specialized curriculum promotes mastery of academic, vocational, and social skill development within each student's Individual Education Plan (IEP). Academics are complemented by a comprehensive visual art and therapeutic recreation program, promoting anxiety release and more engaged learning.
