Description
The Adverse Pregnancy Outcome Reporting System High-Risk Infant Follow-up (APORS) program is for infants born with high-risk factors such as prematurity, small for gestational age, and birth defects. Infants who meet the high-risk eligibility guidelines are referred by the hospitals when the infant is discharged to go home. Nurses usually work with the infant and their families for the first two years of life. There is no income eligibility for participation in the program.
