Children in DuPage County who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, or are involved in a private guardianship case where a CASA is appointed.

(1) Children removed from their homes are placed under the guardianship of DCFS and a shelter care hearing will determine where the child will live until the case closes, (2) A volunteer advocate (CASA) is assigned to these children
