Eligibility

Community members of all ages and backgrounds, particularly those who may face barriers to digital access, including older adults, low-income families, individuals with disabilities, immigrants, and job seekers; Must be age 18+ (or accompanied by a parent/guardian if under 18); Cannot be currently enrolled in a formal digital literacy training program (referrals will be provided as needed)

Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce's on-site Digital Navigator Services provides personalized, one-on-one or group support to help individuals confidently access and use technology in their daily lives. Delivered on-site or at community hubs such as libraries, workforce centers, housing facilities, and nonprofits. These services aim to bridge the digital divide by offering hands-on assistance where people already live, learn, and gather. Services Offered: Device Support: Help using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other digital devicesInternet access assistance: Guidance on finding low-cost internet options and getting connected Digital skills training: Support with essential skills like email, online forms, video calls, cybersecurity, job searching, and moreNavigation of online services: Assistance in accessing telehealth, government benefits, educational tools, and workforce platformsReferrals: Connections to digital literacy classes, affordable devices, and community tech resources
