Must be a resident of Bloomingdale Town ship; Must be at least 18 years of age and out of High School; Must meet income guidelines.

Required documents

Photo ID (Drivers License, State ID, Passport) Social Security cards of all family members Pay stubs for the prior 30 days Proof of Residence (utility bill, rental lease, mortgage statement) Rental Lease.

Description

Provides activities and resources for Seniors including: Meals on Wheels, Smart Driver courses, flu shots, transportation services, temporary handicapped parking permit applications, income tax assistance, Informational forums, Recreational Activities, and utility payment assistance through the Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Also provides walkers, canes, crutches and wheelchairs for loans to seniors. Provides temporary shelter from extreme cold/hot weather conditions during listed hours of operation.
