Description
Provides first-time homebuyer education and HUD approved counseling services. Also offers down payment assistance where clients receive up to 5% of purchase price to help with down payment and closing costs. Affordable homeownership units in Lake Forest and Highland Park are also available for clients. Services include: - Developing an individualized action plan - Developing a realistic budget - Learning how much of a loan you can afford - Understand your credit report - Build savings - Decrease debt - How to improve credit scores - How to qualify for a mortgage - Overcoming barriers to homeownership - Answer your questions - How to feel more confident and prepared for homeownership
