Description

Arab-American Family Services (AAFS) is a provider for both IWC and IFRP, and their Immigration Department is an integral part of these programs. Through these programs, their agency can connect immigrants, refugees, and newcomers to a wide range of support, including:. Public benefits assistance. Elderly program services. Domestic violence services. Mental health services. Sexual assault services. Immigration services, ESL, and civics classes. Educational workshops and drives. Workforce and employment support. Healthcare access, including Medicaid, Access to care, Care Link, and Marketplace enrollment

Arab-American Family Services (AAFS) is a non-political, non-religious organization that focuses on building respect and understanding between Arab-Americans and the mainstream-American culture. AAFS provides services to over 30 communities in the South Suburban Chicagoland area. Listed programs focus on the areas of safety net case management, as well as domestic violence prevention and intervention, elderly and disability assistance, cultural diversity training, mental health assistance, immigration services, community health and education programs, and youth programs.
